East China’s Jiangsu province has made every effort in recent years to support the high-quality development of the real economy by taking the digital economy as the key increment of the transformation and upgrading of the province’s economy, and gathering potential and enabling the development of the province's advanced manufacturing industry through intelligent, digital and green transformation.
The lighthouse factory is known as the most advanced factory in the world, representing the highest level of intelligent manufacturing and digitalization in the global manufacturing industry. Yizi Food (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was included in the latest list of 18 "lighthouse factories" released at the World Economic Forum held in January.
Benefiting from the factory diagnosis and case sharing services provided by the government, the company has applied more than 50 digital innovation cases in the whole process of operation, which has increased the on-time delivery rate of the enterprise by 18%, shortened the delivery time by 32%, and achieved efficient and low-cost operation.
"We have improved productivity, sustainable development and the resilience of the supply chain. We also want to explore the traditional manufacturing industry into a field of more advanced manufacturing and more intelligent manufacturing," said Zhou Dong, Vice President of Supply Chain of Yizi Greater China.
"We have built a public service platform of 5G+industrial Internet which aims to support the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, and share replicable experience with other enterprises in the park," said Lu Yuan, Deputy Director of Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee.
In 2022, Jiangsu ranked first in the intelligent manufacturing development index and the integrated development level of industrialization and industrialization in the country. A total of 9 enterprises in the province were selected as "lighthouse factories", ranking first in the country.
Jiangsu also ranks among the top national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and the number of "digital pilot" enterprises in the country, playing an important role in stabilizing growth and promoting transformation.
In 2023, Jiangsu will also launch the implementation of intelligent transformation and digital transformation of 20 thousand industrial enterprises above the designated size and complete transformation and free diagnosis for 10 thousand enterprises and more than 15 thousand enterprises respectively.
To ensure that the goals are met, Jiangsu will invest 1.2 billion yuan to support the digital transformation of intelligent transformation, build intelligent systems around workshops, factories and supply chains, and carry out multi-scenario, full-chain and multi-level application demonstration.
Jiangsu will also strengthen resource support in technology, finance and taxation, services, talents and other aspects.
