East China's Jiangsu province reported a 66.4% high-level and in-depth integration of informatization and industrialization in 2022, ranking first in the country for eight consecutive years and indicating the rapid development of industrial digitization and digital industrialization, according to the latest statistics released by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
Jiangsu comprehensively promoted the three-year action plan for intelligent transformation and digital transformation of manufacturing industry by carrying out free diagnosis for 22 thousand enterprises, implementing and completing 27 thousand and 13 thousand transformation projects respectively.
Six projects were selected as the national intelligent manufacturing standard application pilot, ranking first in the country, and three enterprises were respectively selected as the national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory and the "digital pilot" enterprise. Digital empowerment has improved the quality and efficiency of manufacturing industry, reduced costs and improved the competitiveness of Jiangsu manufacturing at home and abroad.
The developed manufacturing industry has also provided broad space for the development of Jiangsu's digital economy. In 2022, Jiangsu reported an increase of 10 state-level industrial Internet platforms, recording 4.2 trillion yuan of annual electronic information manufacturing revenue, with a year-on-year growth of 15.3%.
The province reported 1.3 trillion yuan of software business revenue, an increase of 10.3% year on year, and the added value of core industries in the digital economy accounted for about 11% of the total.
At the same time, Jiangsu invested 49.5 billion yuan in information infrastructure by building 56 thousand new 5G base stations to add to a total of 187 thousand, ranking first in the country.
