Those who cannot participate in the marathon this year can apply to unenroll in the event on the applet of the Wuxi Marathon from Jan 21 to March 5 for a 50-percent refund on the participation fee.

Since its initiation in 2014, the Wuxi Marathon has received recognition from the Chinese Athletics Association, World Athletics, and the Association of International Marathon and Distance Races. This year, the Wuxi Marathon was named the World Athletics Gold Label Road Race.
