The Panasonic CHP hydrogen energy demonstration project, which was officially put into operation in Wuxi recently, shows us a new application scenario of "hydrogen" energy for building power supply, heating and cooling, realizing zero emission of energy use in the whole building.
Panasonic's first hydrogen fuel cell comprehensive energy utilization project in China was applied to the project of Panasonic Energy Wuxi Co., Ltd.
The fuel cell system is built on the basis of the 5kW pure hydrogen fuel cell product developed by Panasonic. The hydrogen fuel cell system can supply power and heat for the factory, and directly supply heat for the factory in winter. Combined with Panasonic refrigeration technology, it can also cool the factory in summer, so as to improve energy efficiency and give full play to the maximum capacity of the fuel cell.
The factory has designed the first zero-carbon building with hydrogen fuel cell as the main energy supply mode and solar power generation system and energy storage system at the same time. Through the independently developed EMS control system, the three different energy supply modes can achieve the best energy supply and the best energy use efficiency, and achieve the zero-carbon emission of the entire building energy use.
"China's goal of achieving carbon neutrality in 2030 and reaching carbon peak in 2060 is quite high. We hope to make contributions to China's dual-carbon goal through this technology," said Jiro Honda, Representative director and global vice president of Panasonic Holding Co., Ltd..
