The Jiangsu delegation to the first session of the 14th National People's Congress held a group meeting on Tuesday to study and implement the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he participates in a joint group meeting with national political advisers from the China National Democratic Construction Association and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, in Beijing on Monday. Xin Changxing, deputy to the National People's Congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, attended the meeting and made a speech.
Xin Changxing said that the study of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he participates in the joint group meeting with national political advisers from the China National Democratic Construction Association and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce should be closely combined with the important speech made during his participation in the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation, so as to deepen the understanding of the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era from the major achievements made by the Party and the country over the past decade.
He asked the Party organizations at all levels in the province to unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, to remain calm, to seek progress in ensuring stability, to act actively, to be united, to dare to fight, and to effectively challenge risks and win new and greater victories in the new era and new journey.
Xin Changxing pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech was the "compass" to realize the healthy and high-quality development of the private economy, which has greatly enhanced the confidence and determination of the development of private enterprises and private entrepreneurs.
Looking back on the struggle for high-quality development in Jiangsu, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee pointed out that the private economy has always been an important supporting force, adding that looking forward to the new journey, Jiangsu continues to take the lead in high-quality development with the private economy playing a greater role.
He asked all government departments in the province to earnestly implement the guidelines and policies of the CPC Central Committee, continue to optimize the business environment, focus on building a cordial and clean relationship between government and business, always treat private enterprises and private entrepreneurs as the own people, treat their affairs as their own, give support when encountering difficulties, give guidance when encountering difficulties, and correctly guide the healthy and high-quality development of the private economy.
Xin Changxin hoped that the private enterprises in the province should firmly implement the new development concept, stick to the main business, strengthen the operating business, and consciously follow the path of high-quality development.
He said the private entrepreneurs should strengthen their national feelings, carry forward the excellent entrepreneurial spirit, actively build a community of interests for all employees internally, and actively assume the social responsibility of promoting common prosperity externally.
