The Shanghai Railway Bureau has issued the plan for the spring outing passenger transport that will last from March 10 to April 10.
61.5 million railway passengers in the Yangtze River Delta are expected to go for spring outing, averaging 1.92 million on a daily basis and standing for a 95% resumption from the same period of 2019. In order to meet the demand of passengers to travel to Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou and popular tourist routes in key tourist cities, the railway department plans to add 25.5 pairs of EMU trains to the train operation schedule.
