To fully implement the employment priority strategy and strengthen the effect of entrepreneurship, the "Innovating Jiangsu" campus entrepreneurship training event for colleges and universities was officially launched Monday afternoon.
The entrepreneurship training program is mainly aimed at college students who are studying in the province and have entrepreneurial aspirations. It mainly focuses on the ability requirements of university students' innovation and entrepreneurship at various stages, and promotes the integration of skills, training and professional education. At the same time, the program will strengthen capital support, provide subsidies for entrepreneurship training according to regulations, and strengthen the connection between entrepreneurship training and entrepreneurship services, aiming to improve the success rate of college students' first-time entrepreneurship.
"We’re going to integrate entrepreneurship training into the curriculum system and can be counted as credits. Entrepreneurship training will provide empowerment to entrepreneurs from aspects including entrepreneurship policies, entrepreneurship projects, entrepreneurship guidance, entrepreneurship institutions, etc. We’re going to train 300,000 people this year and cover all students graduating in the year," said Li Jianfang, Director of the Vocational Skills Development, Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province.
The launching ceremony was held at Nanjing Institute of Technology, where a double-creation lecture was held simultaneously. Experts on national innovation and entrepreneurship shared their experience on financial and taxation law, investment and financing, enterprise management, and other aspects. It is reported that Jiangsu province has now cultivated 509 provincial entrepreneurship demonstration bases, nearly 400 entrepreneurship training institutions, and nearly 3,000 entrepreneurship training lecturers recognized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. It is expected that they will provide strong support for college students to be "entrepreneurs" and "innovators".
