A China-Europe train loaded with auto parts, electronic products, home building materials and some other goods pulled out of the Sino-Kazakhstan Lianyungang Logistics Cooperation Base on Tuesday morning to start its journey to Central Asia.
As the first physical platform project of the "the Belt and Road" international economic and trade cooperation, China Kazakhstan Lianyungang Logistics Cooperation Base has operated 5000 China EU freight trains, with a volume of more than 440 thousand TEUs. The freight train routes have gradually expanded from the five Central Asian countries to Türkiye, Germany, and Russia, covering 104 international freight stations, cultivating special trains with characteristics such as ferroalloy, cotton yarn, rolled steel, potash fertilizer with the full load rate and heavy box rate basically reaching 100%.
