On March 16, Jiangsu Xuzhou Mining Energy Co., Ltd., which is controlled by the group, held an IPO online roadshow and launched a new share subscription, making it the only main board listed company in the national coal industry in the past decade.
Three days later, Xuzhou Mining Group won the 7th China Industry Award with the title of "China Industry Oscar" by virtue of the "Resource Exhausted Mining Area Transformation and Development Innovation Technology and Model Demonstration Project".
Faced with the development dilemma brought about by the depletion of local coal resources, Xuzhou Mining Group has fully utilized its talent, technology, and brand advantages, and carved out of a transformation path of breaking through and rebirth.

In Shaanxi, Xinjiang, and the Bay of Bengal, relying on excellent coal mining and power operation and maintenance technologies, Xuzhou Mining Group has developed six major energy bases and carried out 36 service outsourcing projects focusing on technology and management, covering 6 countries and 8 domestic provinces.

"I am in the Wulagai Grassland of Inner Mongolia for the building of the first million lignite power generation unit project in China. Upon its completion, electric energy will be directly transmitted from here to Jiangsu," said Sun Jiaxing, Employee of Xuzhou Mining Group.
"I am in the Bangladesh and Pakistan Project Department of Xuzhou Mining Group. We have built the first and only modern coal mine in the history of Bangladesh," said Wu Binghong, Employee of Xuzhou Mining Group.
Xuzhou Mining Group has also invested a total of 5.077 billion yuan in coordinating with local governments to control 224000 mu of coal mining subsidence land, while fully utilizing existing resources to develop new industries, creating a national sample of ecological restoration in aging mining areas.
In the former Pangzhuang mining area, the coal mining subsidence area has been renovated and transformed into a national wetland park. Today, big data centers, thermal power plants, and photovoltaic bases stand atop the old coal mines, and the industrial development has undergone a transformation from "black" to "green".
In 2022, Xuzhou Mining Group recorded a year-on-year growth of 15.57%, 62.5%, and 45% in operating revenue, total profit, and taxes, respectively, hitting a record high in history. The per capita income of on-the-job employees maintained a double-digit growth for five consecutive years, doubling from 2017.
