The 14th Xuzhou Jiawang Peach Blossom Festival opened on the bank of Dugong Lake Saturday morning. Let's take a close look.
With a total area of over 20000 mu and 1.6 million peach trees, the peach garden in Jiawang District is the largest ecological peach garden in the Huaihai Economic Zone.
Dugong Lake Scenic Area covers an area of about 10000 mu of peach gardens, and there are also about 10000 mu of peach gardens in Zongzhuang and the northern foot of Dadong Mountain. Every spring, peach blossoms bloom all over the mountain, making it a perfect place to go hiking and enjoy flowers.
"I'm from Russia, and I feel very happy to be here. It's very unique here, and I like this activity very much," said a college student.
The Peach Blossom Festival integrates Dugong Lake, Dadong Mountain, and Pan'an Lake. Through Han costume exhibitions, antique bazaars, and special agricultural product exhibitions, it allows everyone to enrich their tourism experience while enjoying the flowers and scenery
"I feel very happy and honored to see so much local culture in Xuzhou," said a college student.
"It's very lively. I think it's a very meaningful experience to enjoy some traditional Chinese dances and watch talented women and talents in traditional costumes perform," said a local resident.
