More than 140 exhibitors from over a dozen provinces in China showcased the latest products and cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent security, smart communities, anti-theft alarms, and police equipment at the 2023 Nanjing Smart City Public Safety Exhibition that was held on Saturday at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center.
Nowadays, smart homes have been integrated into every aspect of our lives, and smart locks with fingerprint and facial recognition have become essential in daily life. At the exhibition on Saturday, a smart lock with new technology attracted many visitors.
“Our facial recognition smart lock has reached the highest level in the industry. Once encountering a lock prying, this smart lock can simultaneously alert both the property and the owner. If the owner is not at home, the property can dispatch security personnel to handle it as soon as possible. Owners can set up fingerprints to be held, such as using the thumb to open the lock during normal times or using the thumb fingerprint to open the lock in case of danger. Once the owner unlocks the lock with their thumbprints, the property can receive a notice as soon as possible by preliminarily determining that the owner is in danger and rushing to handle it as soon as possible. This smart lock can be used normally without the internet, which is the biggest difference between our smart lock and other smart locks,” said an exhibitor.
The life of elderly people living alone always worries their children. In response, exhibitors are also constantly developing and upgrading various equipment.
The exhibition also showcased a resident service card data platform, a digital management platform based on identity applications, which enables efficient collaboration and integration of business scenarios such as parks, schools, hospitals, scenic spots, and construction sites, giving full play to the value of data and empowering smart city landscape construction.
In addition, for residential areas with a large number of migrant populations, the landlords can quickly register and manage tenants’ information through mini applications. For example, if only one person is registered in a certain room but varied people enter and exit the same room, there may be potential criminal risks such as pyramid schemes and group gambling. In this case, the platform will provide early warning.
