Provincial Party Secretary Xin Changxing and Governor Xu Kunlin met with Wang Xiaoping, Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, in Nanjing on Tuesday.
On behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government, Xin Changxing and Xu Kunlin expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security for its long-term care and support for the development of Jiangsu.
Xin Changxing said that since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has been studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and carrying out the education campaign on study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which has resulted in a good start featuring rapid economic recovery, continuous enhancement of development momentum, expected significant improvement, and a stable and positive employment situation.
Xin Changxing noted that Jiangsu will prioritize the promotion of employment oriented development strategies, improve the system of synergy between employment and industrial development, promote the public service system for employment, vocational skills training system, support and standardize the development of new forms of employment, strengthen the protection of workers' rights and interests, deepen labor cooperation between the East and the West, promote the improvement of people's livelihoods through high-quality and full employment, help build a modern industrial system, and continue to promote the potential and momentum of high-quality development.
The provincial party chief said the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's inspection tour and on-site promotion meeting in Jiangsu on stabilizing employment in the human resources and social security system will provide strong guidance for Jiangsu to deeply implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and continue to take the lead in promoting high-quality development.
He hoped that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security would give more guidance and help to Jiangsu in terms of high-quality full employment pilot, construction of talent development modernization pilot area, and solid promotion of common prosperity, so as to jointly make new and greater contributions to the overall development of the country.
Wang Xiaoping said that the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government have attached great importance to human resources and social security work by giving priority to promoting employment, forming an integrated work pattern, a digital empowerment work model, a diversified participation service system, and a professional management grassroots team, which has resulted in significant demonstration and leading role.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will thoroughly implement the General Secretary's important speech and the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, carry out pilot projects, summarize and promote good experience and good practices in grass-roots work, jointly study and solve key and difficult problems encountered, help Jiangsu continue to be at the forefront of high-quality development in the country, and better promote the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.
