The city of Suqian has made every effort to pool the wisdom of overseas talents so as to comprehensively promote the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Suqian.
Workers at Jiangsu Hongrun Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., located in Sihong Economic Development Zone of Suqian City, were seen skillfully operating machines to produce solar panels.
During the second Jiangsu Development Summit in 2019, the company signed a contract with Suqian to launch a PERC battery production project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan.
Thanks to a series of preferential policies provided by the local government, the project completed the process from signing the contract to starting construction to completion and production in 186 days. At present, the project has achieved an annual output value of 5 billion yuan, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Suqian's laser optoelectronics industry.
“We have built a first-class and efficient, intelligent manufacturing production line for solar cells in China with over 400 employees, including nearly 100 research and development personnel and have applied for 23 patents,” said Sun Chao, Project Leader of Jiangsu Hongrun Optoelectronics PERC Battery Production.
Project construction is the lifeline of high-quality development and a strong engine of stable growth. Shuyang Keze New Materials Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan, is a national high-tech enterprise in the field of polymer materials, which is expected to achieve an annual output value of 20 billion yuan. The local government's targeted assistance and preferential policies have played an important role in promoting the project's smooth progress.
“Once investors have problems, they know who to consult and who to handle them. Through a series of measures, we have ensured the rapid completion of project approval procedures and promoted the rapid implementation of the project,” said Zhong Qihua, Head of Approval Service Center in Shuyang Economic Development Zone, Suqian City.
“Upon mass production, we will launch three new production lines and ultimately have four production lines imported from Japan and South Korea. The project is expected to become the largest OCA production enterprise in the country,” said Xie Xin, General Manager of Shuyang County Keze New Materials Co., Ltd.
In recent years, Suqian has signed contracts for projects worth billions or even tens of billions of yuan, while continuously optimizing investment, development, and life services, enhancing business service brands, and creating a more vibrant and creative business environment.
Under the promotion of the two Jiangsu Development Conferences, in 2022, Suqian recorded a regional GDP of 411.198 billion yuan, and the six leading industries recorded a production value of 371.737 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.0%.
