East China’s Jiangsu province has preliminarily formed a gradient cultivation system for characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, various regions are giving full play to their unique industrial advantages to accelerate the cultivation of characteristic industrial clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises, and a cluster gradient cultivation system has been preliminarily formed.
The latest statistics show that more than 31 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises have settled in the first batch of 100 characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises in China, with an annual output value of over 2.5 trillion yuan and an average annual growth rate of 19.2%.
The clusters include 73 single champion manufacturing enterprises and 474 little giant enterprises, with high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises accounting for 24.8%. The initial formation of gradient cultivation system of the cluster has constantly improved the advantages of the entire industrial chain within the clusters.
Data shows that Jiangsu reported an average annual growth rate of 26.1% for the research and development funds of small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industry clusters, covering emerging industries such as high-performance materials and precision devices and filling the domestic gap with a batch of cutting-edge technologies.
In 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also cultivate around 100 characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide, promoting the acceleration of digital and green transformation in various regions, and improving governance and service capabilities.
