Chinese President Xi Jinping has encouraged overseas students at Nanjing Audit University to contribute to promoting friendship and cooperation among countries in a letter replying the students on July 4th. After receiving the reply, the students said they will strive to be ambassadors of friendship between their countries and China.
中国国家主席习近平7月4日给南京审计大学的留学生回信，鼓励他们为深化国家间友谊与合作积极贡献力量。收到回信后的留学生代表表示，将努力做增进中国与所在国家友谊的使者。
Since its launch in 2016, the international auditing master program at Nanjing Audit University has trained over 280 professionals for auditing agencies of 76 countries along the Belt and Road.
南京审计大学审计专业硕士国际班于2016年设立，已累计为76个“一带一路”沿线国家的审计机关培养了280余名专业人才。
“I am an auditor at SAI Botswana. Yes, financial auditor for the past 5 years. That was after our practice article, our practical exposure at Lancao. When we got back, because of that experience, we felt that we really needed to tell the president that we really are appreciative. That is why we wrote the letter. And when I saw it with Jiao Yulu, I was like, this is what we came here for. Each of each and every one of us is able to make difference. That's why it really encouraged me most. I feel so happy. It was so unexpected. Like we were so surprised that president took his time to read our letter, to respond to our letter when he did. It's even less than two weeks or three weeks. It's so quick. We are so appreciative that the letter response came before we went back to our countries. I would love to bring the part of auditing China and take it back home as a benchmarking tool so that we close the gap, the auditing gap skills. And then I'll also would try to improve the relations between China and Botzana as much as I can, in any way that I can.” Seabelo Tumpane, A Botswana international student at Nanjing Audit University, said.
南京审计大学博茨瓦纳留学生Seabelo Tumpane表示，“过去五年，我担任博茨瓦纳最高审计机构的财务审计员。给习近平主席写信是我们从兰考县考察回来之后，在那里的经历让我们不禁想要向习近平主席表达我们的感激之情，这就是我们写这封信的原因。了解焦裕禄的事迹是我们此行最大的收获，我们每一个人都能有所作为，这深深地激励了我。能收到习近平主席的回信真的是太让我激动了，我们都很惊喜习近平主席可以读到我们写的信，而且只二三周就给了我们回信，这真的太迅速了，我们非常开心可以在回国之前收到他的回信。我希望把中国审计的一些做法带回国内，作为我们的标杆，缩小我们之间审计水平的差距。我也将尽我所能，通过各种方式努力推进中国和博茨瓦纳之间的友好关系。”
“I have been a financial auditor for over 15 years. I'm very happy to be in China to study and further my education on Masters in audit. China are moving very fast in terms of development, in terms of the areas of audit, especially in IT, big data, a lot of stuff. So learning in China will make me come up with new ideas, new innovations, new experience that I can share with my SAI.” Bubacarr M Jallow, A Gambia international student at Nanjing Audit University, said.
南京审计大学冈比亚留学生Bubacarr M Jallow表示，“我做财务审计员已经超过15年了，很高兴来到中国深造，修读审计硕士课程。中国在审计领域，特别是在IT 大数据方面都发展迅速，在中国学习可以激发新想法、掌握新方法、获得新经验，带回我们的国家。”
“China opens the door of knowledge for international students and even facilitates this educational trip for us. So, this is our initiative to talk the people of China, the government. So, since his Excellency, Mr. Xi, is the representative of the people, we initiated to write, to acknowledge this opportunity. I'm very, very, very happy to hear from him. I respect Jiao Yulu commitment, I think it is a good example that he, even the CPC leadership, showed for his people.” Dawit Fikru, An Ethiopia international student at Nanjing Audit University, said.
南京审计大学埃塞俄比亚留学生Dawit Fikru表示，“中国为国际留学生打开了知识的大门，还为留学生组织研学旅行，我们写这封信是为了感谢中国人民，感谢中国政府。尊敬的习近平主席是人民的代表，所以我们写信给他，向他致以谢意。能收到他的回信我真的太高兴了。焦裕禄的奉献精神让我心生敬意，他和广大中国共产党人、为人民做出了很好的榜样。
“One big factor is the resilience, the hard work of people in Lankao, people moving from very poverty stricken area to where they are now. It's a big thing for us, so having a chance to write to him, we couldn't miss that chance. Like he said in the letter, this program is about cultural exchange, about knowledge exchange. We know China has its own system, auditing with socialist characteristics, and their system is quite different from the other parts of the world. I'm gonna be a good ambassador for that.” MAKIDOYI HAKIM, A Rwanda international student at Nanjing Audit University, said.
南京审计大学卢旺达留学生MAKIDOYI HAKIM表示，“给我印象最深刻的是当地人们的韧性和努力拼搏精神，他们将兰考从过去的贫困地区一步步建设转变，实现了今天的成就。有机会给习近平主席写信对我们来说意义非常，我们一定不能错过。正如他在信中所说，这个项目的目的在于加强交流、互学互鉴，我们知道中国有独特的中国特色社会主义审计制度，与世界上其他国家有很大的不同。我会做好两国友谊的使者。”
