East China’s Jiangsu province has continued to take the lead in actively serving the country and building a dual circulation system for high-quality development, according to a press conference held by the Provincial Government Information Office Tuesday morning.
Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has continued to strengthen innovation-driven development, implement the strategy of expanding domestic demand, deepen the advantages of the real economy, optimize the regional economic layout, deepen reform and opening-up, strengthen the cultivation of strategic scientific and technological forces, tackle key core technologies, cultivate and expand advanced manufacturing clusters, and support 15000 enterprises to implement intelligent transformation and digital transformation projects.
In the first half of this year, Jiangsu reported an increase of 37 national science and technology business incubators, ranking first in the country. In the first half of the year, Jiangsu recorded a transaction of 175 billion yuan in technology contracts, an increase of about 10%. Jiangsu recorded a year-on-year increase of 98.3% and 83.5% in the number of domestic and foreign tourists and total tourism revenue.
