Under the promotion of the village-enterprise joint construction model initiated by "Green Energy Port" in CNOOC Yancheng, Chenjia Village of Jianhu County has promoted rice shrimp co-farming, vegetable cultivation, high standard ecological breeding, and original ecological agricultural products so as to have effectively opened the market and led local villagers to increase income and become rich.
On July 31, CNOOC Yancheng "Green Energy Port" and Chenjia Village of Jianhu County held a ceremony for the launch of the "Village-Enterprise Joint Construction "and agricultural products. Both parties reached a long-term designated procurement project.
Chenjia Village has adopted a cooperation model of "company+base+farmers" to explore a path to prosperity by encouraging farmers to develop aquaculture, plant fruits and vegetables so as to strengthen the village collective economy and expand employment channels for villagers.
“On the Dragon Boat Festival, we won orders of nearly 160000 yuan from several units of CNOOC in Jiangsu, and we expect to achieve an increase of nearly 2 million yuan throughout the year. Through the ‘circle of friends’ of the enterprise, we have gained a wider network for our agricultural product sales, and the villagers are more confident in the collective agriculture”, Lu Man, Deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Chenjia Village, Jianhu County, Yancheng City, said.
After multiple docking and on-site inspections, CNOOC Yancheng's "Green Energy Port" has continuously explored and improved a new model of "village-enterprise joint construction" with Chenjia Village.
“As a central enterprise based in Jiangsu, we want to explore a new model in the joint construction of village enterprises, so that the path of win-win cooperation between village and enterprises can go further”, Xu Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng, said.
The "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng is the largest liquefied natural gas reserve base in China. In the future, "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng will actively assist in the smooth sales of rural characteristic agricultural products, enhance the visibility of agricultural products, promote farmers' income growth and prosperity, and assist in rural revitalization.
