Three projects from Jiangsu, including the "Yangzhou China Grand Canal Museum", have been selected for the first batch of pilot projects for cultivating immersive new spaces for smart tourism in China, ranking first in the country alongside with Beijing and Shanghai in the number of selected projects.
Three projects from Jiangsu have been selected for the first batch of pilot projects for cultivating immersive new spaces for smart tourism in China, including the "Yangzhou China Grand Canal Museum", Suzhou Bay Digital Art Museum's new immersive experience space for smart tourism and Wuxi Nianhua Bay's new immersive experience space for night smart tourism. In recent years, in response to the new demand for upgrading tourists' tourism experience, various regions in Jiangsu have explored and created new spaces for immersive experiences in smart tourism by relying on tourist attractions, vacation areas, leisure blocks, and museums so as to have provided tourists with a new immersive tourism experience by using digital technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and integrating cultural and creative elements, through the integration of culture and tourism, virtual and real scenarios.
