East China’s Jiangsu province has made every effort to create jobs for the fresh college graduates through different approaches.

Liyang, a second-tier city in Changzhou, recently held a job fair and provided policy information through live streaming. Some high-level talents, college students, and entrepreneurial representatives were invited to showcase 35 entrepreneurial projects so as to build a display platform for everyone and providing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Taixing City visited local enterprises, launched a series of policies to stabilize employment, released job vacancies for enterprise recruitment, organized a series of online and offline recruitment activities, and built a platform for employment supply and demand.

Shuyang County has launched a series of activities such as talent docking in the industrial chain and talent carnival in the hometown of seedlings. At the same time, it has combined the preferences of young people with local intangible cultural heritage exhibitions to promote employment policies and provide job vacancies.

“This event has truly built a docking platform for both our school and enterprise, further promoting more comprehensive and deeper cooperation between Shuyang enterprises and various universities and colleges, and helping our enterprise access more technology and talent resources”, Yu Jiang, General Manager of Jiangsu Songhe Song Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., said.

Suzhou held a job fair for college graduates, with 98 private enterprises providing 1455 job vacancies in production, manufacturing, commercial services, construction, and digital economy.

The job fair also organized 16 private non-profit social organizations to participate in recruitment for the first time by setting up various recruitment zones such as employment internships, digital finance, and Suzhou Youth Chamber of Commerce and providing policy consultations so as to allow job seekers to experience one-stop services.

“We have collaborated with multiple departments to create suitable positions for college graduates. We hope that graduates can smoothly find employment in Suzhou through the job fair”, Tang Wei, Deputy Director of the Employment Guidance Department of Suzhou Talent Service Center, said.
