East China’s Jiangsu province has made every effort to implement policies and measures to promote sustained economic recovery and step up effective improvement in quality and reasonable growth in quantity.
Nanjing has introduced 23 policy measures to promote sustained economic recovery and improvement in six areas, including greater efforts to prosper the consumer market and expand effective investment.
These policies will further enhance the endogenous driving force of development, stimulate the vitality of market entities, and promote the effective improvement of quality and reasonable growth of quantity in the economy.
“We have evaluated and improved the implementation of the policies introduced in the early stage, and have continued to take effective measures to ensure the organic connection of policies. At the same time, we have learned from the practices of other regions by taking into account the actual situation in Nanjing, and proposed a series of innovative and exploratory policy measures”, Huang Hui, Director of Nanjing Development and Reform Commission, said.
In the past five years, the private economy has contributed over 40% to the economic growth of Nanjing, becoming an important engine of the city's economic development and an important entity of technological innovation. In the next step, Nanjing will further optimize the development environment of the private economy, promote the development and growth of the private economy, and continuously enhance the sense of acquisition of the innovative entities.
“We have continuously improved the gradient cultivation mechanism for high-quality enterprises, guiding private enterprises to benchmark against world-class standards, enhancing value creativity, enhancing resource allocation and integration capabilities, and accelerating the formation of high-quality enterprises led by industrial cluster leading enterprises, with specialized and innovative enterprises and high-tech enterprises as the main body”, Tang Yongshi, Deputy Director of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said.
Wuxi has introduced 22 detailed measures to promote the sustained recovery and improvement of the city's economy by focusing on solving problems such as insufficient domestic demand and weak external demand, ensuring strong compatibility in enriching consumer supply, stabilizing the basic foreign trade market, strengthening key industrial clusters, and improving the functions of the capital market.
In the second half of the year, Wuxi will allocate a total of 100 million yuan to stabilize foreign trade and provide subsidies and rewards to eligible enterprises. At the same time, Wuxi will continue to make efforts in eight areas, including promoting the integration of digital and real development, and strengthening scientific and technological breakthroughs in key areas, to enhance the momentum of innovation and development.
Wuxi has also proposed specific optimization "roadmap" by focusing on promoting high-quality development of the private economy, creating an efficient and standardized government service environment, and some other issues that business entities are most concerned about.
