At the opening ceremony, Nanjing promoted its urban characteristics with five images of history, development, innovation, openness, and happiness by introducing new spaces for urban development in key areas such as building a highland for industrial technology innovation, promoting the transformation and development of traditional pillar industries, cultivating and strengthening innovative industrial clusters, constructing a modern service industry system, and developing the digital economy.

154.5-billion-yuan cooperation agreements on 76 major projects were signed in the four pillar industries, the "2+6+6" innovative industry, and the new service industry system.
The 2023 Global Service Trade Conference and the Nanjing Cross border E-commerce High Quality Development Forum will be held during the Nanjing Golden Trade Fair. Jiangning District, Gulou District, and Luhe District will hold more than 30 themed promotions, project signing, industry docking, and some other activities with over 4000 businesspersons expected to show up.
