East China’s Jiangsu province has made its due contribution to the upcoming Asian Games that will open on Saturday in Hangzhou city of east China’s Zhejiang province. JSBC has the story.
Jiangsu's contribution can be seen everywhere in the hardware facilities related to the Asian Games. A company in Wuxi has undertaken the construction of four competition venues and one warm-up training venue for the baseball and softball sports cultural center that add up to a total area of approximately 43000 square meters. This is also the first time for China to use professional fill-free artificial turf for international competitions.
“Our warm-up training venue this time is on the roof, so the Asian Games design team has also adopted the most advanced fill-free technology, which has been guaranteed in terms of environmental protection with its good elasticity,” said Zhang Yan, Chairman of Jiangsu Weiteng Sports Industry Co., Ltd.
China has recently put into operation its first 220 kV flexible low-frequency transmission project in Hangzhou. With its high-end technology, a company in Changzhou of Jiangsu province has provided equipment such as frequency converter valves to the project and carried out construction, ensuring the interconnection of the two major load centers, Fuyang and Xiaoshan, and providing flexible electricity protection for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
The Fuxing Asian Games intelligent EMU, which is about to connect Hangzhou with Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou, five Asian Games co-hosting cities, is equipped with a gear transmission system provided by Changzhou Qishuyan-based CRRC, directly improving the overall system's lightweight and low noise.
