2023 Suzhou Campus Day was launched recently to recruit college talents. Around 600 college graduates from Wuhan colleges and universities arrived in Suzhou boarding a special train to participate in the event. Cao Lubao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Suzhou Municipal Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech.
The “Suzhou Campus Day" is a signature brand of Suzhou's talent recruiting work. In this recruiting season, Suzhou launched the first "college talent train" to invite about 600 graduates from Wuhan to start a two-day on-site recruiting and city experience tour. At the scene, Suzhou also released the recruiting map and job requirements information, and issued an exclusive "talent gift package" including metro cards, accommodation cards, garden tour cards, gourmet experience cards, interview transportation cards and so on.
“Suzhou is a city that respects talent, paying attention to every aspect. Just like what they said, we come here with a back bag and don’t need to worry about other necessities. Suzhou takes care of us”, Yu Xiran, Graduate from Financing Department, Wuhan University, said.
The recruiting fair includes six recruiting areas including electronic information, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, advanced materials, research institutes, finance, education and health, and two service areas. 110 employers and 3,590 job vacancies attract a lot of students.
“I've heard that Suzhou has a lot of companies in the field of optoelectronics and they’re very competitive. So I’m willing to find an opportunity here to show my ability and ambition”, Hu Qiaomu, Ph.D. student, Optical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, said.

With favored support like this, I think the best talents from top universities in China will gather in Suzhou to promote the development of Suzhou and the Yangtze River Delta”, Zhang Limin, Executive Deputy Director and Executive Director of Quantum Technologies Yangtze River Delta Industrial Innovation Center, said.
“Suzhou Campus Day" has been held for seven consecutive years. The activity of this season will continue till December, expected to have nearly 300 recruiting fairs in 168 universities of 54 cities across 22 provinces.
