East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development.

Inspired by the Chinese character "Lü", the passenger station building also incorporates in the decoration of the waiting hall ocean elements such as waves in a bid to create a new Chinese style station that reflects the unique culture of Lü Si and make people to feel the local historical and cultural heritage.

Designed with a capacity to handle 200000 passengers per year, the Lvsi Port South Station started construction in October 2021. The Yangkou Lvsi Railway, a constructive project in response to the national "the Belt and Road" initiative and serving the "Yangtze River Delta Integration" and "Yangtze River Economic Belt" strategy, will help build a new Yangtze River container transportation system at Tongzhou Bay and effectively connect Nantong’s coastal ports.

The Xicheng Line, an intercity rail transit project from Wuxi to Jiangyin, began a three-month no-load trial operation on October 7th, marking the countdown to the operation of Wuxi's first cross regional rail transit line.

With 10 stations built, the 30.4-kilometer Xicheng Line is an important line for the north-south corridor of Wuxi city. Upon its opening, the metro line will be connected to the city’s Metro Line 1 to accelerate the integration of Jiangyin and Wuxi.
