He made the remarks when going on an inspection tour on Friday to Jiangyin and Huishan, two county-level regions in Wuxi city.
The Wuxi Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, located in Huishan District, has been dedicated to digital design and manufacturing innovation for over a decade.

Noting that research institutes are an important support for Jiangsu's construction of an industrial technology innovation center, Xin Changxing remarked that Jiangsu must focus on the foundation of industry, adhere to the coordinated efforts of demand traction and innovation drive, and transform the key variables of technological innovation into the maximum increment of high-quality development.
Hailing that Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a famous institution in China, the provincial party chief hoped that the institute will more closely combine its scientific research and talent advantages with the province's industrial and market advantages so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results in deep cooperation.
When visiting the cloud service smart factory of Heilian Group, Xin Changxing watched a demonstration of personalized and mass customization modes, and after inspecting the smart workshop, he said that the development of the digital economy is profoundly changing the way of production and life
He hoped that Heilian Group can give full play to its advantages of leading enterprises in the industry, demonstrate intelligent transformation, digital transformation, and cyber connectivity, and promote the traditional industry of textile and clothing to become a more competitive sunrise industry.
