He made the remarks during his inspection tour Tuesday and Wednesday to enterprises, industrial parks, and ports in Hai'an City, Rudong County, and Tongzhou District.

When visiting Xinyuan Cocoon Silk Company, Xu Kunlin requested further efforts to climb towards the high-end of the value chain, actively expand overseas markets, and strive to generate advantageous industrial clusters with strong innovation ability, excellent brand quality, and high product added value so as to boost farmers' income.
During his visit to Jiangdong Technology Company, Xu Kunlin encouraged the company to continue increasing investment in technology research and development, accelerate the pace of intelligent transformation, digital upgrading and internet connectivity, empower production and optimizing processes through 5G, IoT, big data, and cloud computing, and enhance industry discourse and market competitiveness with more cutting-edge technologies and products.
During his inspection to Wotai Energy Company and Tianying Co., Ltd., Xu Kunlin demanded perseverance, innovation, and greater efforts to go global by giving full play to the resources of domestic and international markets so as to refine the core competitiveness of the enterprise in the fierce international competition.
When inspecting the project sites of Jingliheng's special high-power electronic chips, Tongkun polyester integration, and Fuchuang precision components, Xu Kunlin requested these enterprises to make good use of Nantong's advantages in transportation location, comprehensive costs, and industrial supporting, gather advantageous resources, achieve greater development, and better assist in strengthening the industrial chain.
During the inspection of Hai'an Commercial Logistics Park, Xu Kunlin requested further efforts to seize the major opportunities brought about by the joint construction of "the Belt and Road" and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, promote functional platforms such as multimodal transport, bonded logistics, futures delivery, and spot trading, promote the cluster of supporting enterprises, and shape new advantages for hub economic development.
When visiting Yangkou Port and Sunshine Island to understand the development of port construction and industrial layout, Xu Kunlin called for accelerating the construction of major energy projects, promoting the integration of port, industry, and urban development, and contributing more to the province’s energy supply guarantee, the green transformation of the Yangtze River Delta, and the country’s carbon emission goals.
