East China's Jiangsu province and China Railway Construction Corporation signed Thursday afternoon in Nanjing a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Governor Xu Kunlin met with Wang Lixin, General Manager of China Railway Construction, and jointly witnessed the signing of the contract.
Xu Kunlin said that Jiangsu is striving to lead and demonstrate the Chinese path to modernization, which has provided significant opportunities and expanded broad space for both sides to carry out in-depth cooperation.
Noting that China Railway Construction Corporation is a global mega comprehensive construction group with a solid foundation and fruitful achievements in cooperation with Jiangsu, Xu Kunlin said this signing will further promote practical cooperation between the two sides in more fields, deeper levels, and higher levels.
He hoped that China Railway Construction Corporation would give full play to its advantages in intelligence, talent, and funding, strengthen collaborative cooperation with Jiangsu in areas such as technological innovation, strategic emerging industries, and future industrial development, adding that Jiangsu will fully support China Railway Construction Corporation's development in Jiangsu and work together to create a new model of central-regional cooperation.
Wang Lixin said that Jiangsu has a good business environment, excellent government services, and great market potential. China Railway Construction will fully grasp the implementation of the strategic cooperation framework agreement, actively connect with Jiangsu's development needs, deeply participate in major transportation infrastructure construction and urban comprehensive development, and demonstrate the responsibility of central enterprises in supporting Jiangsu's high-quality development.
