56 projects from east China's Jiangsu province have entered the finals of the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition that was kicked off Thursday in Yantai city, east China's Shandong province.
This competition is the largest scale, highest level, and most extensive postdoctoral innovation and entrepreneurship competition in China since the implementation of the postdoctoral system.
With 6206 projects competing in the event, 1530 teams were nominated for the finals in 7 themes, including new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new energy and new materials. Jiangsu's participating projects cover all categories.
"Our project mainly focuses on the detection of cardiovascular critical markers for early diagnosis or screening to identify the causes of chest pain in patients. This super magnetic resonance blood testing instrument reduces the detection time by 50% and doubles the accuracy and sensitivity", Li Yong, Contestant from Jiangsu, said.
"Our project is a 3D printed intelligent repair system based on intelligent monitoring of bridges. During the competition, it can actively connect with capital and local talent policies, which is also a great help for us", said Sun Junbo, Contestant from Jiangsu.
