Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, met with Chung Jae-Ho, South Korean Ambassador to China, in Nanjing on Thursday.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, Xin Changxing welcomed Chung Jae-Ho's visit to Jiangsu. Noting that the parliamentary delegation from Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, visited Jiangsu recently, he said the ambassador's visit to the 5th China-South Korea Trade and Investment Expo fully reflects the deep roots of friendly exchanges between Jiangsu and South Korea.
Noting that Jiangsu and South Korea are close neighbors and play an important role in China-South Korea relations, the provincial party chief hoped that both sides can jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, expand economic and trade exchanges, promote the construction of China-South Korea industrial parks, deepen cultural exchanges, and achieve a higher level of complementary advantages, mutual benefit, and win-win situation.
He hoped that South Korean-funded enterprises will continue to develop in Jiangsu, share opportunities, create the future together, continue to create a first-class business environment, and provide higher quality and efficient services.
Chung Jae-Ho stated that Jiangsu is the province with the largest investment and trade volume from South Korea to China. South Korea will actively promote a good development environment in Jiangsu, support more Korean-funded enterprises to develop in Jiangsu, and promote exchanges and cooperation between the two regions to a higher level.
