Noting that synthetic biology is a thriving emerging discipline, and biopharmaceutical is a strategic emerging industry that Jiangsu is focusing on cultivating, he said that Professor Roger Kornberg has profound academic achievements and outstanding scientific research achievements, and the establishment of the World Laureates Association Forum is also very influential.
The CPC provincial chief said Jiangsu is looking forward to jointly deepening the research of synthetic biology to form a batch of world-class and innovative achievements that benefit humanity, and promote more outstanding talents to conduct scientific research and exchange visits in Jiangsu.
He said the province will create a good environment and provide comprehensive service guarantees for everyone working in Jiangsu.
Roger Kornberg stated that the concentration of innovative elements and strong innovation atmosphere in Jiangsu provide strong support for conducting cutting-edge scientific research. The World Laureates Association will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Jiangsu to cultivate more outstanding young talents.
