Enterprises from east China’s Jiangsu province were thrust to the spotlight at the 6th China International Import Expo which is themed in New Era and Shared Future.
As the world's first destination for new products, cutting-edge technology, and innovative services, Jiangsu has remained a stable showcase for global exhibitors on the stage of this CIIE, bringing many dazzling "black technology" exhibits.
What will the life of future people be like? You may want to experience it in the artificial intelligence section of the CIIE. An immersive sports exercise room, intelligent chess robots, a magic mirror that automatically displays clothes on the body, and palm scanning payment. Through new technologies that integrate virtual and real, visitors can also experience new fun at home.
In addition to home life, the exhibits in the future car exhibition area break people's understanding of traditional means of transportation. Electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft are considered the main means of transportation for short distance air travel within and between cities in the future.
An off-road RV with a wading depth of over 0.8 meters is capable of handling complex road surfaces such as ice, snow, deserts, and mud. Meanwhile, a new system can monitor the driver's status through EEG waves to prevent unsafe behaviors such as fatigue driving and distracted driving.
11000 units and 42000 people from Jiangsu have registered at this CIIE.
Jiangsu-based enterprises focused their purchase on service trade, technical equipment, medical equipment, and healthcare. Enterprises in Suzhou are expected to purchase 1 billion US dollars. Seven companies in Taizhou have booked orders worth over $40 million. The 36 purchasers in Changzhou intend to achieve a transaction amount of approximately 500 million US dollars. Wuxi and Taizhou have respectively signed new projects with AstraZeneca.
Jiangsu is actively opening up its market to the world and expanding its imports, bringing opportunities for its own industrial transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development.
