In the past six years, as the world's first and only national level import expo, China International Import Expo has increasingly become an important platform for more and more national exhibitors to enter the Chinese market and expand brand influence.
69 countries and 3 international organizations appeared at the Expo, including 64 "the Belt and Road" countries. Gold, the CEO of the Malta Fisheries Association, appeared, at the Malta National Booth. Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation interviewed him in Malta recently when conducting a launched large-scale all media cross-border news coverage called "Journey to the Great Road • Building a Dream Silk Road".
At the CIIE, Gold showcased the Malta bluefin tuna that had just been captured in October, marking the debut of Malta's aquatic products in China.
“This is my first time attending the CIIE, and we want our high-quality products to be further promoted through the CIIE platform. Today is the second day of our exhibition, and we have already received several orders,” said Goode, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Fisheries Association.
This year, the CIIE provides some free booths, construction subsidies, and preferential tax policies for the retention and purchase of exhibits, helping some countries promote characteristic products, giving them more opportunities to share China's opportunities and achieve shared development.
Hand, 27 years old, comes from Sadat City, Egypt. She brought more than 30 types of Egyptian specialty plant spices and made her debut at the CIIE booth. The initial anxiety was quickly dispelled by inquiries from buyers from around the world.
“I came to China to find business opportunities for the local specialties in my hometown. So far, we have received a total of 4 orders, including those from China and other countries. The CIIE is really a big stage, not only for orders, but also for the future and hope,” said Hend Mahlus, Export Trade Manager, Egypt Retaj.
The CIIE connects eager global enterprises and domestic and foreign merchants, further consolidating the consensus of open cooperation.
“The CIIE is an exhibition that we attach great importance to as many new products will choose to debut here. It allows more Chinese consumers to understand us. We have attended the CIIE for 6 consecutive years, made many friends, and gained a lot,” said Erik Bresling, CEO of Danish Specialty Food Co., Ltd.
“China has a large domestic demand market, and the CIIE is an important platform for promoting international trade. Slovakia is famous for its wine production, and participating in the CIIE has brought us greater trade fever,” said Vladimir Hodal, Commercial Counselor and Deputy Consul of the Slovak Consulate in Shanghai
