We must strive to build a powerhouse of socialist culture so as to build Jiangsu into a vivid place of practice for learning about cultural ideas, and an important exhibition place for the achievements of the construction of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, so as to provide a strong ideological and cultural support for taking the lead in promoting the Chinese path to modernization and for a new chapter in the modernization of new Jiangsu.
Xin Changxing emphasized that "exploring new experiences" in the construction of this new form of civilization is a glorious cultural mission entrusted to Jiangsu by the General Secretary, which Jiangsu regards as an unshakable responsibility of the times and the most important task of promoting ideological and cultural work in the province.
The provincial party chief said Jiangsu will explore new experiences and showcase new achievements in consolidating common ideas, shaping the mainstream public opinion pattern, accelerating cultural innovation and creation, making improvement of social civilization, and enhancing the influence of civilization dissemination, strengthening its comprehensive leadership in promoting ideological and cultural work, and upholding the Party's leadership in publicity, ideology, media, and the cyberspace so as to ensure that the Party's flag will always fly high on the ideological and cultural front of publicity throughout the province.
