East China’s Jiangsu province held its first job fair in the new year to ensure that the employers and employees can meet each other half way.
Nanjing held its first job fair of the new year on Wednesday with 44 employers providing nearly 600 job vacancies, including software engineers, financial accountants, and customer managers. Many service industry companies reserve personnel to cope with the peak demand of the Spring Festival, and some companies recruit relevant employees in advance to start new projects.
“Our company is engaged in the design, research and development, and production of non-standard automated machine tools. Recently, we have undertaken a project with a contract value of over 10 million yuan, and we are about to start construction. This time we are recruiting around 15 non-standard design and sales technicians for machine tool assembly,” said Hong Mei, HR Manager of Nanjing Jiaxi CNC Technology Co., Ltd.
“We arranged a total of 161 job fairs in January. In the next step, Nanjing will continue to launch job fairs to help key groups find job as soon as possible,” said Wan Jinhai, Deputy Director of Nanjing Labor Employment Service Management Center.
