The new regulations will take effect at midnight on January 10th. The ticket refund and rebooking fees for China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines have been reduced to a maximum of 75% and 60% of the original ticket.

At the same time, both airlines have relaxed the rules for ticket refunds and rebooking due to passenger’s illness. Passengers who are unable to travel due to illness can apply for rebooking or refund by presenting relevant proof materials.
