Japanese ceramics company, SND to deepen cooperation

Suzhou New District in East China's Jiangsu province held an online meeting with NGK Insulators, a Japanese ceramic technology company, with the aim of deepening cooperation on June 11.
According to Fang Wenbang, Party secretary of Huqiu district, SND is a green industry demonstration base that is home to 618 Japanese companies. The zone is currently seeking further cooperation with NGK Insulators and its SND-based subsidiaries on energy conservation and environment protection, he added.
Kanie Hiroshi, executive vice president of NGK Insulators, thanked SND for its long-term support and praised the role that the district played during the COVID-19 pandemic in helping its subsidiaries.
Kanie said that the company will focus on achieving carbon neutrality and developing digital products so as to contribute to SND's development.
Founded in 1919, NGK Insulators has two subsidiaries, NGK (Suzhou) Automotive Ceramics Ltd and NGK Technocera Suzhou Co, that were established in the SND in 2001.
