Jiangsu revs up major investment project construction

East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development. 

The progress of Longtan Yangtze River Bridge, a key transportation project to promote the integration of Zhenjiang and Yangzhou in Nanjing, has always attracted much attention.

The construction of the north anchorage of the important load-bearing structure of the bridge has been completed, and the construction of the second phase of the north approach bridge has begun.

According to Ding Yunpeng, the site technician of Longtan Yangtze River Bridge Bid Section of China Railway Bridge Bureau, the second phase of the North Approach Bridge project includes many pipelines, such as the West East Gas Pipeline, which could cause inconvenience to the construction, but the technicians have taken protective measures. They are going to finish the construction of 8 # and 9 # foundation cushion caps years ago, and start the construction in the new year.

Longtan Yangtze River Bridge is of great significance in promoting the cross-river integration and development of Yangzhou City and the integration of Nanjing, Zhenyang and Yangzhou.

Changzhou is speeding up the construction of the Oriental Jurassic Park, and has completed the capping of the main body of the first phase supporting housing of Dinosaur Planet. 

Chen Yukang, Scheme Designer of Oriental Jurassic Park Company of Dinosaur Park Group, said that they will build more than 10 innovative high-tech experiential projects, such as the Heart of Life Disaster Prevention and Risk Avoidance Hall, the anti-terrorism rescue outdoor stunt stage, to ensure that the Oriental Jurassic Project achieves its goal in the creative effect, quality and progress investment side.

The project is expected to add more than 3 million tourists every year, directly increase more than 2000 jobs, form a full-featured cultural and tourism industry chain, and inject strong momentum into Changzhou's efforts to build a cultural and tourism axis in the Yangtze River Delta.
