Jiangsu goes all out to create jobs for college graduates
East China’s Jiangsu province are making every effort to create jobs for the fresh college graduates as the graduation season is in full swing. Let’s take a close look.
Kunshan launched the 2023 College Graduates Recruitment Fair on Saturday, with 1095 companies providing over 12000 job vacancies for college graduates. Private enterprises, accounting for more than half of the companies, provide job vacancies in high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, and artificial intelligence fields. Some high-level positions offer an annual salary of 450000 yuan.
“At this job fair, many listed companies provided us with many positions and opportunities, including government subsidies and policies, which I think are very good for the younger generation,” said Jing Chenyu, Fresh graduate of Hangzhou Business School, Zhejiang Gongshang University.
The graduation season job fair held in Jiangsu this year focuses more on sub-division fields, highlights professional matching, and maximizes the employment of college graduates with higher quality.
At a recent campus job fair in Lianyungang, over 180 employers provided over 8000 job vacancies by focusing on the needs of local industries and setting up petrochemical and pharmaceutical zones, new materials zones, high-end equipment zones so as to provide precise services for both supply and demand sides.
“I have reached employment intentions with several employers, and I need to further understand and communicate with them further,” said a graduate of Jiangsu Vocational College of Finance and Accounting.
Xuzhou held a job fair for college graduates of medicine and health. More than 60 employers, especially some township community health centers, service centers, and nursing institutions, provided job vacancies suitable for graduates with strong service capabilities and high operational skills. 420 job seekers reached employment intentions on the site.
“This time we are looking for college graduates from clinical medicine, Nursing, medical laboratory and public health”, said Lei Qiang, Director of the Human Resources Department of Xuzhou Fuxing Ophthalmology Hospital.
