The China-Europe Railway Express Cooperation Forum will be held in Lianyungang from November 30 to December 1, according to the press conference held Monday by the Information Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province.
The forum will be jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the General Administration of Customs, the State Railway Group and the governments of Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Henan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang.
The forum is held to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the third "the Belt and Road" construction forum, and promote the high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road".
The forum will include the main forum, two parallel forums and a review of the 30th anniversary of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge. At the same time, the forum will also show the achievements of China and the destination cities of the China-Europe Railway Express through "online and offline" venues and "exhibition+promotional video".
"The forum will focus on in-depth exchanges, consensus building and practical cooperation on the hot topics of the development of China-Europe Railway Express, so as to better consolidate the foundation for the development of China-Europe Railway Express, stabilize the development trend of China-Europe Railway Express, and improve the development quality of China-Europe Railway Express," said Wang Xiandong, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
