Help Adeline buy stuff from Taobao, help Susan buy movie tickets, help Jackie find a logistics company and help Micheale with visa application... These foreigners all received help at the Nanjing International Community Center (NICC) which was established by Frank Hossack, a foreigner who has been living in China for over 20 years and married a Nanjing woman.

NICC was founded in 2011 and it aims to help foreigners adapt to life in Nanjing by providing a variety of services including Nanjing local information, English language library, Chinese courses, life counseling and psychological counseling.

When Frank first came to Nanjing, he found that there is no circle of a foreigner. So he established the magazine, website and community center to help foreigners like him.

In order to introduce Chinese culture to Western countries, he used foreign media technology to give people from other countries access to understand China. The Nanjing City Guide, "People of Nanjing" community magazine, website and popular videos provide all foreign readers with a window to understand Chinese culture, and also a window for the Chinese people to understand Western cultures. In each issue of the magazine, he will use a lot of space to do public welfare ads and he has helped more than ten charitable organizations.
