The Jiangsu tennis team clinched the gold in the men’s double, women’s double and group events of advance competitions of the 13th National Games that will be held on August 27 in north China’s Tianjin city.
The Jiangsu tennis team bagged the gold for the group event of the National Games on June 18 to win the gold for four consecutive games.
By defending the gold for the group event, the tennis team also won the gold for the men’s double on August 18 by defeating Shanghai 2:1.
Also on August 18, the gold for the women’s double event went to Liang Cheng and Yang Zhao by defeating Tianjin 2:0. Liang is from Jiangsu while Yang is from Beijing. This is also Jiangsu’s first gold for women’s tennis event at the National Games.
