The city of Taizhou held on Monday a cooperative forum to seek more matchmaking opportunities with Shanghai.
The forum, held in Shanghai, heralds the beginning of the massive exploration by authorities in Taizhou to seek matchmaking opportunities with Shanghai in science and technology, finance and other fields.
On the day of the forum, contracts on 96 projects were signed with the total investment adding up to more than 400 billion yuan after an cooperation agreement was inked under the framework of dozens of cooperation projects.
Taizhou also unveiled its "1 +4" series of matchmaking programs in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, financial reform, high-end services, and urban construction in a bid to build a multi-level cooperative relationship between the two cities.
