Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporationreached cooperative agreements with a number of media outlets from home and abroad at the Asian Media Leaders Summit, one of the sub-forums of the Boao Forum for Asia, which is going on in south China’s Hainan Province. This year's theme for the media summit is "A New Age of Media Cooperation in Asia - Interconnection and Innovation."
The guests at the forum believed that under the current background of major changes in the world, all media operators in Asia should jointly issue the voice of maintaining peace and development, tell the story of the Asian people's innovation and creation, and promote exchanges and understanding of Asian civilizations so as to bring together powerful public opinions for a better Asia and a better world.
At the opening ceremony, the participating media operators signed a number of cooperative agreements. The Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation entered into partnership with Malaysian Star Media Group and Singapore New Media Private Limited.
According to the agreement, Tales from Modern China Season 3, which was created in cooperation with the team of JSBC and the British Lions Television and Film Co., Ltd. and won several documentary awards, will be aired in Malaysia and Singapore.
JSBC and Singapore New Media Private Co., Ltd. have also reached a series of consensus on the co-production of film and television content. In the future, both parties will not only carry out personnel exchanges and visits, share the content of digital platforms, but also discuss the feasibility of jointly developing and producing films, television dramas, documentaries, and variety shows.
TV programs including "Extraordinary Magician", "Extraordinary Change", "See Your Voice" will also be broadcast on the Channels of Singapore New Media Private Limited.
The annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia, also known as Asia's Davos, has drawn widespread media attention ahead of the brainstorming on issues of global concern.
Over 300 participants, including cultural scholars and more than 140 leaders of major media organizations from 40 Asian countries, attended the opening ceremony.
