A group of experts from the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce visited Nanjing Tuesday afternoon to seek collaboration with Nanjing-based universities and companies. At the docking meeting, both sides held heated discussions around new energy vehicles, civil-military integration, artificial intelligence and other industries. Many Chinese companies also briefed the Israeli guests through the English version of the policies that encourage innovation in Nanjing. With its policy advantages, Nanjing has attracted Cambridge, Stanford and other internationally renowned universities to set up R&D centers while introducing more than 120 high-end R&D institutions from home and abroad. In the future, Nanjing will also make great efforts to back up the global presence of the local companies by setting up overseas R&D centers or joint research centers. The Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1984 with the mission to encourage, support and facilitate trade and business relations between Israel and Asia. The Chamber promotes productive dialogue and mutual cooperation to strengthen ties between the regions.
