John Edwards, 中文名吴侨文，英国驻上海总领事，也是江苏的老朋友。从2000年到上海工作开始，他就与江苏结下了不解之缘。南京、无锡、苏州、徐州，Edwards先生基本走遍了江苏的每一个城市。到目前为止，他没去过的江苏城市只有淮安和连云港。在2001年，Edwards先生第一次接受江苏电视台的专访；今天我们再次有幸在南京与Edwards先生面对面交流。
The British Consul-General in Shanghai, John Edwards has been an old friend with Jiangsu Province. Working as Consul Political, Economic and Press at the British Consulate General Shanghai from 2000 to 2003, Mr. Edwards began to pay frequent visits to Jiangsu from that time onwards. During the time of nearly two decades, Mr. Edwards has been to almost every city across Jiangsu except Huai’an and Lianyungang. Hello Jiangsu has been eager to meet Mr. Edwards in person, to get to know this old friend of Jiangsu. Fortunately, the chance finally came!
The Road to Wimbledon Program China. May 16.
The Road to Wimbledon Program China was undergoing in Tennis Academy of China in Nanjing. Top eight boys and girls from across the country were selected to attend the event, with the top two boys and girls from the tournament invited to attend the UK National Finals in Wimbledon this August. Mr. Edwards was also on the field practicing tennis with the juniors, showing his support to this tennis program.
由全英草地俱乐部和中国网球协会主办的“通向温网之路”活动第三年在南京举办。从全国范围内挑选出来的优秀男女青少年选手各八名，参与角逐“通向温网之路”中国站比赛冠军，最终胜出的男女球手各两名将受邀出席8月份在温布尔顿草地举行的全英总决赛。Edwards先生也赶到了现场支持这次活动，并和小选手们互动练球。
