East China’s Jiangsu province and Hua Xia Bank signed a strategic cooperation agreement last Thursday in Nanjing. Governor Wu Zhenglong attended the signing ceremony and met with Li Minji, chairman of Hua Xia Bank.
Wu Zhenglong expressed his gratitude to Huaxia Bank for its long-term support to Jiangsu's development. He said Jiangsu has closely adhered to the requirements of high-quality development, deepened the practice of new development concepts, complied with the general tone of steady progress, focused on building a modern industrial system, developing and strengthening new kinetic energy, and promoting coordinated development of urban and rural areas.
The governor noted Jiangsu has laid a good foundation for the progress of the "three major battles", as is evidenced by the overall stability of economic and social development, a good start and good momentum of the high-quality development and the people’s enhanced sense of happiness and security.
Huaxia Bank, boasting advanced concepts and strong strength, is an important strategic partner of Jiangsu, the governor said, adding that the signing will hopefully become a new starting point to further strengthen the province’s confidence and determination, increase support to the province’s real economy and people's livelihood so as to help the province achieve new breakthroughs in high-quality development.
He noted that Jiangsu will provide quality services and create favorable conditions for Huaxia Bank to develop in Jiangsu so as to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
Li Minji said that Huaxia Bank will continue to give support to Jiangsu’s overall development by focusing on the key areas, gathering more resources and innovating service models to provide strong support for the construction of new Jiangsu.
According to the cooperation agreement, Jiangsu will establish a long-term, close and stable strategic cooperation relationship with Huaxia Bank which will give full play to its advantages and provide comprehensive, multi-level and multi-field financial services for the social and economic development of Jiangsu.
