Construction of the Suzhou Sports Training Base, with a planned investment of 321 million yuan ($46 million), has commenced.
Located in the north of the Majian Road and west of the Zangbei Road in the city’s high-tech zone, the complex covers an area of 31,988 square meters and boasts a total floor area of 34,392 square meters.
With two major parts - one for the main building and training venue and another for sports venue, the base will be used for athletes training, venues and life facilities.
The project is scheduled to be completed on December 30, 2019.
