The 12th provincial CPPCC held the 11th chairperson meeting on Tuesday. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the provincial CPPCC, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Huang Lixin pointed out that the National CPPCC's seventh proposal work symposium set clear requirements for promoting the high-quality development of the CPPCC proposals.
The provincial CPPCC should implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thinking on strengthening and improving the work of the CPPCC, especially the important guiding spirit of the proposal work in accordance with the requirements of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the requirements of the provincial party committee so as to enhance the sense of responsibility for promoting the high-quality development of the proposal work, she said.
It is important to focus on the overall situation, strengthen the quality awareness of the proposal, grasp the key links, and carry out the whole process of negotiation through the proposal, focus on work innovation, and digitalize the process of the proposal work, said the chairwoman.
The meeting also reviewed the reports on the establishment of a shared and innovative resource community and pollution prevention and coordination mechanism in the Yangtze River Delta.
