Didi Ride and Nanjing Public Transport Group jointly announced the launch of a customized bus "Your Bus" business on December 12th. The two sides announced that on Dec. 18th, the first batch of 120 lines of custom-built bus services in Nanjing will be put into operation.
Didi said that Didi Bus will be based on the "Internet + Transportation" travel concept, and help the public transport group upgrade to improve transport efficiency.Citizens can experience the custom bus service on the Didi Ride App.
The Nanjing Public Transport Group said that the custom bus service was jointly provided by Nanjing Public Transport Group and Didi Bus. The departures will be concentrated in the morning and evening rush hours, providing commuters with fast and direct commutes, which can reduce commuting time by 33.5 %. Citizens can customize their own "exclusive" commuting lines. Pre-purchase and real-time location is available on the Didi Ride App.
Now the custom bus business has been put into operation in Guiyang, Qingdao, Jinan, Shenzhen and other cities across the country. Through cooperation with local bus groups, more than 900 custom bus lines have been set up, including custom bus, bus express, etc. The total number of trips has been 4.52 million for the whole year. Nanjing custom bus line, will make Didi’s custom bus service reach 1000 lines.
