The transport authorities in the province have mapped out detailed plans to cope with the travel rush.
Road safety inspection will be carried out to reign in reckless driving, overloading, speeding and other acts that violate the law.
The spring festival travel rush, or Chunyun in Chinese, is called world's largest migration. It is estimated that 410 million passengers will be travelling by train during the 40-day-period.
The Chunyun 2019 lasts from January 21 to March 1. During the Spring Festival Rush, China, especially its railway system, faces an extremely high traffic load, which results in great difficulties to obtain a ticket, crowded railway stations and train carriages.
